Electricity box in Heusden Zolder

This electricity box was also painted as a part of Tour Elentrik project. Since it's located in the close proximity of the routes of UEC Road Championships in 2024, i chose to paint a design that directly and metaphorically refers to the competition. The three animals are symbols of the three cities where the routes are laid out. These animals are depicted in coats of arms of these cities. The red lion stands for Limburg, the deer refers for Hasselt and the swan relates to Tongeren. These beasts are cycling vigorously to win and they are wearing champion jerseys.
